“Well, actually I don’t give a f—” Great! This house I was just at has got you all covered — covered in light, that is.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:26 |

I do like light but I'd prefer larger single windows than all these little ones.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:27 |

That has o look weird from the outside? Got any pics of the exterior?
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:27 |

Costly. Custom build or fancy architecture in a development? How does the finish carpentry and paint hold up to scrutiny?
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:29 |

This is the only one I got that doesn’t give away the builder. Didn't get a good angle on all the little windows wall, sorry.

“I want lots of natural light.”
“Great! With this open foyer we can create a huge opening for a few large windows to let in lots of light.”
“BIG WINDOWS??!?!? ARE YOU INSANE!?!? No. You should use about a dozen tiny square windows. Good news, I bought some at a garage sale. Here you go.”
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:31 |

All those little windows are really fucking stupid looking, god damn.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:31 |

This guy builds pretty good homes. It’s just usually the same team of older dudes that can do any labor. Handymen, if you will.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:32 |

I do like natural light! And I find it strongly preferable to builders using non-toilet bathroom fixtures as toilets.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:32 |

Clearly when purchasing this house there needs to be plenty of money dedicated to curtains and blinds.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:34 |

“I love windows but I don’t want anyone to look at me, and I don’t want to look at anyone else.”
“So why did you want all these—”
“Silence!"
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:34 |

I like natural light, but that’s just a bit OCD for me.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:36 |

Imagine the thousands of thousands combinations of blinds shut vs blinds open though! I’m going checkerboard if I get the chance.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:36 |

damn, that does look good... Deff wish I could see a shot of all those tiny windows from the outside.

I'm actually more offended by these windows.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:39 |

What a pain in the arse to wash all those windows................inside and out.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:40 |

Somebody got a tremendous deal on a truckload of 2x2 windows and had to figure out how to use them.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:40 |

Nice to see something not covered in piss n shit
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:41 |

Are those all custom? Because DAMN that initial cost and blind/shade bill.
Also, from the backyard it may trigger trypophobia.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:42 |

To each their own...
I’ll take the window house, you can take the urine house. Everybody wins!
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:42 |

68 windows, so I can watch it rain in Seattle...
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:45 |

What the hell did the window store have a sale on 2' x 2' windows? I am getting dizzy just looking at it all.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:49 |
|
Bitch get on my level
This one is local to me.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:50 |

Frankly, that amount of windows/light would annoy the crap out of me, but that last pic does look like the perfect nook for my kitty.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:52 |

Yeah I actually really like that room. Full tile floors too *oooh ahhh fancy oooh* BUT STILL

I actually have a bit of trypophobia myself. There’s no rhyme or reason as to what sets it off though. I can watch the XFiles no problem, but sometimes can’t look at [example you would never think of]
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:56 |

Natty!!!
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:58 |

Don’t be ridiculous — this homeowner almost certainly will hire maids/cleaners.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 11:58 |

Is that just a nook within a larger room?
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:00 |
|
Yeah, this is a full bedroom in the basement. Has a 6×4 walk-in closet too.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:07 |

I love lots of windows and natural light, but that entryway looks terrible.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:08 |

Some poor bastard has to clean all those windows. That’s awful.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:11 |

If I owned a window cleaning company, I would just charge her well over double and hope she takes her business elsewhere — for the sake of the morale of my cleaners.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:12 |

Exactly. Imagine the cob webs! Won’t someone think of the spiders!?!?!
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:15 |

Sarcasm aside, I doubt it. A big thing on the Eastside is paying exterminators to spray the outside of their homes — Every window, nook, and cranny. All things will die. They’ll never make it inside over time :(
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:15 |

As a Marine....that is my exposed nightmare. I like a house to look nice, but I want to lock that shit down if I have to. Looks like someone pasted a bunch of shit on the walls in photoshop for fun....then they built it....
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:17 |
|
It’s a perfect metaphor for the Bellevue housewife. Everything inside is dying.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:19 |

LOL.
I have to say, there’s nothing like a homeowner and designer picking out different color finishes on a chandelier like it’s an existential crisis.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:19 |

i don’t know i feel like it needs more windows.

I walked in the door this morning to two of my construction jobs getting work stoppage orders. One by the city of Seattle the other by Bellingham. Guess which city is being the biggest dick?
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:26 |

The city where Homes are selling for over 15% of their actual value and is completely up its own ass with its pretentiousness?
Sorry [ahem] “Celica"

DING!
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:32 |

Nice size for what’s presumably not the master. I like a good walk-in. Ours is about 8x6 or so (with 13' ceilings so plenty of storage above) but the built-ins aren’t exactly how we’d do them, so it’s on our list of changes to make at some point down the line. Not sure if we’re just going to change the layout of what’s where or if we’re going to pull them and do a full redo. Time will tell.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 12:46 |

This is ugly AF!!! I love natural light, but you can do it much, much cleaner.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 13:01 |

Was there a sale at the window store or something? Why 20 little windows instead of four big ones? I don’t understand this at all.
![]() 08/12/2016 at 13:10 |
|
Natural light >>>>>> artificial light
That being said that’s a shit tonne of windows
![]() 08/12/2016 at 14:29 |
|
I'm a big fan of natural light, but why in god's name would you do it with a ton of tiny windows?
![]() 08/12/2016 at 15:00 |

I’m getting old, this was my first thought too. Who would do such a thing!?
